Virus-like particles (VLPs), which are hollow structures formed through the self-assembly of viral structural proteins, exhibit safety and immunogenicity, making them indispensable for vaccine research and drug delivery systems. Both viruses and VLPs serve as critical tools in fundamental scientific investigations aimed at elucidating cellular mechanisms and discovering innovative therapeutic strategies. EXODUS is capable of rapidly eliminating impurities such as free nucleic acids and proteins from samples while efficiently retaining viruses and VLPs, thereby achieving their enrichment and purification. Additionally, it effectively preventing particle aggregation and membrane clogging during the purification process. (1) Virus and Virus-like Particles Isolation With EXODUS-600
TEM characterization of virus and virus-like particles.
Using EXODUS H-600, high-resolution TEM images were obtained to highlight typical morphology of bacteriophages, phage protein self-assembly particles and Rift Valley fever virus. Lentiviral titer recovery rate results.
After purification with the EXODUS H-600, the titer of lentiviral infection increased from 9.86 x 107 to 1.56 x 109 , with a recovery rate of 63.29%, and the physical titer increased from 2.5 x 1010 to 3.95 x 1011 with a recovery rate of 63.0%
